Dr. Luekenga grew up in Nampa Idaho, earned his bachelors degree from Brigham Young University and his doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry.
Dr. Luekenga began optometry practice as an officer in the U.S. Navy working with F18 fighter pilots, their crew and families. Honing his skills with the most visually demanding patients in the world he was also trained in treating ocular trauma, eye disease and laser eye surgery.
Previous work in hospital settings provided Dr. Luekenga the opportunity to practice with physicians of all specialties from pediatrics to geriatrics and radiology to surgery, allowing him to better help and understand the needs of the entire patient, not just their eyes.
Since joining Heritage Valley Eye Care in 2005 Dr. Luekenga has enjoyed the relationships he has developed with his patients. Aside from work and volunteering in various organizations Dr. L spends his free time with his wife and their four children.
Dr. Emily Farlow, O.D. was raised in Ventura County, California. She completed her undergraduate education at CSUCI, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to graduate in 2021 as the Valedictorian of her class from the Southern California College of Optometry with her Doctor of Optometry.
Dr. Farlow is glaucoma certified and enjoys managing a variety of ocular conditions including dry eyes, retinal disease and treating kids for myopia control.
In her free time, she likes baking, painting, hiking, and exploring new cities.


Dr. Lipsun was born in the Philippines and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences- Medical Biology. She later earned her Doctorate of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry.
Dr. Lipsun is glaucoma certified and her training includes retinal disorders in an ophthalmology setting, ocular disease at the VA in The Villages, FL and private practice. She aims to provide thorough and compassionate exams to each individual patient.
When not in clinic, Dr. Lipsun can be found hiking or eating her way through town with her husband and son.
